Ever Feel Like This Guy at Internet Marketing?

I did the other day. Allow me to explain.

First off, I’m not a noob, so before you go off feeling like I’m some kind of inexperienced marketer or a guy without any knowledge or experience of SEO, online marketing, or business in general, think again. I’ve been doing this for years and it’s what I make a full time living off of, and no, I don’t live with my parents…any more, that is.

Basically, I bought a WSO.

Okay, so maybe that was my first mistake, right?

But here’s the deal. It was getting great reviews, had a good headline, a video of a guy who claimed to be making six figures doing this strategy that didn’t take a list or a website but drove massive traffic to CPA offers at little to no cost to you.

So I was like, bullsh@t.

And he was like, 9 dollars.

So I was like, okay. I’ll try it.

What Was It?

It was this WSO right hurr.

Now, I hate slimy sales pitches and overhyped products. These kinds of products only make it even tougher for anyone and everyone who is for real in internet marketing to make a single dime because we are all so worried about the latest scam artists and fake gurus launching products without giving their real names or locations and quietly blasting their Clickbank accounts with broke retards’ wallets.

But, for 9 bucks, I figured, what the heck?

This WSO pretty much involves posting signs on street corners for CPA offers.

That’s it.

Just pick a mobile friendly offer and put it out on a street corner somewhere.

Or better yet, do 25 signs on like 15 different street corners, like I did. Busy ones.

And how much money did I maaake?!?!

16 dollars OMG!!!

I’m rich. That’s it. I retire.

From EVERYTHING other than this WSO.

I will lay street signs like crazy for the rest of my existence. F@#$ it. If I knew I could make 16 dollars, I’d have started years ago.

Only problem is, I spent around 300 dollars when all is said and done, after adding in about 5-10 hours of my time which could be outsourced at that rate and factoring in the 245 dollars I spent on signs, which were supposedly really good.

Wow. Talk about butt hurt.

Anyways…

Yeah okay. Call me a dumbass if you want.

But here’s the deal. I’m already making a full time income online. If I could expand that, 300 dollars would have been completely worth it. Wouldn’t it have?

Imagine if there were a 1 percent chance this method would make me any kind of money at all. That one percent chance of success is worth fighting for. And I did.

Back to Work…

Anyways, back to the real things that make me money. Consulting, SEO, affiliate marketing, blogging, and all that other crap. Tired of this game and so should you be!

Next time you see a sales pitch like this…

Try to have just a wee bit more skepticism than I did, alright?

Hey all, I have been gone a while and have forgotten all about this little site!

The last few months have been crazy. Let me tell you just a couple of things that happened…

1. We tested Elite SEO Training in the Warrior Forum and received mixed reviews. I am wondering where exactly we are missing out and what can be done to improve on the sales funnel for the site. Bottom line, we only got a handful of members with our first few bumps. More are sure to be trickling in, but then again, why is it a trickle and not a flow? These are the things I shall continue to understand in the coming months…

2. I got some consulting work helping a friend of mine manage clients for a site, seo-services.us. The site was performing really well and we had a lot of clients, all the way up to around 60 or 70 clients when it happened…

GOOGLE SLAPPED US!!

Yep.

Apparently my manager Adam built a few not so great links to the site, including a rented PR 9 and PR 8 link. This is just asking for trouble. And we got it.

I’m upset because I lost my job due to this. Oh well. I will continue forward and make money elsewhere, even if it means starting over.

3. I started a new affiliate money site.

It’s called Real Acne Treatment.

I came up with it in order to make a sweet looking site that has tons of content and reviews on acne products. It’s pretty heavily monetized with CPA offers and is very well optimized for the search engines.

I dropped 700 dollars promoting it via article submissions and blogging on various websites to build links. HOLY CRAP!

Hopefully I went with the right vendors. Only time will tell. I doubt 700 worth of SEO will rank me for the term acne treatment. However, I am excited and ready for new opportunities anyways. I’m not going to let one little slap hold me back.

Google, prepare to become my bitch…again.

You can always just compensate for that with more thoroughly spun articles and a better job of building contextual backlinks. Either way, you can use any service you want in this niche to win at the SEO game with enough time and effort to make it a reality…

So…is Article Marketing Automation Worth it?

My verdict?

Heck yes.

I really love this software! It does so many magical things for SEO in such a simple way that a newbie would be hard pressed to find something better to use to rank small sites on the first page.

And for advanced SEO’s, it’s another great tool to add to your arsenal.

Bottom line, I love Article Marketing Automation and so should you!

You Never Forget Your First…

Interestingly enough, a year ago today, I was sitting about where I am right now just checking through my Clickbank account and looking at some statistics for how many hits I was getting on each sales page. Totally unassuming!

I had just got done making some content for one of my sites, when lo and behold after signing in, there it was! A gleaming green bar in my Clickbank account!

I Jumped Up and Down and High Fived My Friend Mike, Squeaking like School Girls!

Seriously, it was a good time. I don’t know if you’ve been there  yet or if you’re still trying to get to it, but it’s a majorly good feeling. It’s not something you will soon forget.

And it happened exactly one year ago today. Isn’t that special?

I know it’s stupid and ridiculous sounding, but when you struggle to make a living only for so long trying so many different things, actually making money is a miracle of some sort! It really is!

Even if it only was $66.55. Who cares? The point was, I had applied knowledge I learned about affiliate marketing and was that much richer than I was before.

Not because of some fancy gimmick or a lottery ticket. Not because someone gave it to me for Christmas.

I earned it by figuring out how to generate sales online!

Trust me, that’s a lot more satisfying.

Sure, there is work involved. I have to update my pages, build backlinks, generate traffic and what not. It can be a bit of a pain!

But in the end, when you see some money coming in and realize you earned it and that no one handed it to you or let you have it out of charity or as a gift, the feeling of self worth is undeniable. You hear me? UNDENIABLE!

No one could tell me it was a scam then. No one.

If you haven’t had this experience yet, I sincerely hope you do soon. Just keep at it, alright?

And don’t forget, if you are working hard already and not making money, change what you’re doing every few weeks or so! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Hence I am launching my seo training membership site soon as I would like to make more money! It is going to be big!

HOLY FRIDAY, BATMAN!

I know how serious some of you must be about making money online, or maybe some of you aren’t. (If not, why are you here?). But seriously, Friday is not for working, at least not as hard as you did during the entire week.

As for me, I made some good broadcasts out to one of my lists for a product launch in the penny stocks niche and made some solid change off of that.

I also managed to get some solid work done on a new SEO training membership site I am building. Oh yeah, that’s right! It’s going to be a HUGE launch! I am planning on having this site turn into a serious 5-10k per month internet business.

Between myself and a buddy of mine who is also super serious about it, it will be unstoppable.

“Pain.”

Okay, seriously, has anyone seen this thing around? I have been looking for years! I swear I just can’t find the magic money button anywhere and it is making me mad. All those shiny sales letters promised me I’d get the money as soon as I clicked the buy now button. So why isn’t it working? Where’s my magic button?

Maybe I shouldn’t have bought the Clickbank Code…

But Mike Jones! This guy I’ve never met and don’t know anything about says he stumbled across the secret code to Clickbank! Holy crap you guys!

Okay, maybe that time was a mistake. But at least it got me started thinking about this kind of stuff.

And it gave me the hard realization that making money online isn’t as simple as it seems, now is it? Yes, you may have to do some work and create some value for people. Passive income is not given away, it’s earned. You don’t just get it for sitting on your butt!

Every time I see one of these sales pages, the ad copy and videos are just hypnotic. I can’t believe people are looking me in the face and telling me that this make money button exists. Next thing they’ll be telling me that Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy are real too. What else?

But look at those Clickbank Screenshots! You can’t fake those, dang it!!!

Actually all you need is photo shop, and sometimes you don’t even need that.

And videos? Yep, they can be faked too. A little bit of video editing and maybe some fake voice overs to fill in the blanks and poof, you are pretty much good to go.
